In line with government guidance, Knighton Mead opened for all children in all year groups from Tuesday 1st September. Prior to that, staff had 5 school closures days to finalise risk assessments and receive training on up to date safety measures. As you will see in the information below, we provided a staggered start to the year with one quarter of each class attending across the 4 days 1st-4th Sept. This gave staff invaluable time to support transition and introduce new systems to pupils. Full classes returned from Monday 7th September, including in nursery. A blended learning offer, using remote education to support, can be found below and will be actioned if a child or bubble should need to self-isolate.
